Incredible Adele finishes sixth!
The 26-year-old showed that she has got what it takes to rub shoulders with the world’s best, finishing both runs of the Lillehammer track in Norway in a combined time of one minute 52.09 seconds in her TNS-sponsored monobob.
“Thank-you to everyone who supported my decision to jump into the front seat this year,” said Adele, who reached speeds of nearly 75mph. “I’m only three weeks into my first season as a pilot, so there's a long road ahead but an exciting one for sure.”
Adele finished just over half a second behind the winner, Margot Boch of France, who set a new track record of 55.69 seconds with her first run.
The tour moves on to Altenburg in Germany for round two on November 28.
