Pair charged in connection with pinching two TVs from Tesco!

Two people from Welshpool have been charged in connection with the theft of two smart televisions from the town’s Tesco store.

Lorraine Williams, 45, and Mark Windsor, 40, both of Oldford Rise, Welshpool, have both been charged with theft in connection with the incident that took place last month.

Dyfed-Powys Police described the TVs as “high value” and said the pair will appear before the town’s magistrates on July 28.

“We would like to thank the local community for their assistance, support and information which helped bring these people to our attention,” said a police spokesperson. “The willingness to come forward has been vital.”
