Mayor’s Civic Service Sunday

The Mayor’s Civic Service will return tomorrow (Sunday), after an absence for several years.

The Town Council has reintroduced the Mayor’s procession through the town from 10.45am to an 11am service at St Mary’s.

Following the one-hour service, a parade will return to the Town Hall where community awards will be distributed.

There are four awards and one 'Highly Commended' certificate to be presented by the Mayor, Cllr Phil Owen (pictured), who was elected earlier this year.
