Welshpool road closure next week

A large part of a busy Welshpool road will be closed next week during the day for resurfacing work.

Part of Brookfield Road, up Red Bank, will be closed all week from Monday from 8am-6pm to allow Powys County Council to carry out the much-needed work.

“Residents’ access will be maintained via diversion and emergency vehicles access will be maintained. The alternative route will be signposted,” said a Powys Highways spokesperson.
