Smash and grab thieves target Welshpool Tesco

Thieves have smashed their way into the petrol station at Welshpool’s Tesco overnight and made off with £6,000.

Dyfed-Powys Police said it is investigating a report of a burglary at the business that occurred before 1.30am this morning (Friday).

“The front door has been smashed, and approximately £6,000 in cash has been stolen from the business,” said a police spokesperson.
