Welshpool High School Eisteddfod results and pictures

It was another memorable Eisteddfod held at Welshpool High School with first class performances to celebrate Welsh culture and the arts, and photographer Phil Blagg has been down to picture all the winners.

The winning house was Castell Powis House with 2,217 points, and house captain, Seren Davies, and House Manager, Mrs N. Forsyth, were presented with the Eisteddfod Shield (right).

Second place with 2109 points were Afon Hafren with Third place, on 2,037 points, going to Cadair Idris. With 1,951 points were  Llyn Efyrnwy.

The school would like to thank the judges Ffin Dillon, Ffion Skilton, Lena Grzegorzewska, Josh Pawley, Cerys Ashworth (Music), Caitlin Owen, Florence Kuipers, (Drama and Recitation) Lola Rogers, Nikki Davies (Dance) and Mrs Hurst (The Crown).
