New Head for village school

A new headteacher has been appointed to start his role in September, and he has already spent time meeting the children, parents, staff and governors.

Richard Andrews will start as Acting Headteacher at Llandysilio Church in Wales School in Four Crosses, and will move up to the area from Cardiff over the summer with his family.

“Mr Andrews is looking forward to being part of the Four Crosses/Llandrinio community and is keen for the school to play a key part,” said a school spokesperson.

“He looks forward to supporting the school in its development and is keen to ensure that all the pupils succeed and thrive.”
