Llanfair public meeting over leisure centre future

The precarious future of Llanfair Caereinion Leisure Centre will be up for debate at a public meeting in the town on Tuesday (tomorrow) at 7.30pm.

Powys County Council is reviewing its leisure offering across the county, and the future use of centres, like Llanfair Caereinion’s, will be reviewed and changes could be introduced as costs escalate to keep them running.

The meeting is expected to welcome the town’s County Councillor, many Town Councillors and the Town Clerk.

The meeting will take place at 7.30pm at the Leisure Centre.
