In what is turning out to be our fortnightly weekend weather warning story, the Welshpool area is being placed on yellow alert from Sunday morning.
While Welshpool is outside the areas expecting to have high winds and rain on Saturday, the yellow warning comes into play at midnight and runs through until 9pm on Sunday.
The warning means we can expect the usual flooding and also the possibility of power cuts and rail disruption.
Sunday’s story follows Storms Darragh and Burt which have caused widespread issues for the area over the past month.
