Tragic news as biker dies in Guilsfield road crash

We have some very tragic news to bring you this afternoon with the confirmation that a young man was sadly killed in yesterday’s accident that closed the main road to Guilsfield.

Police have confirmed that the 21-year-old man died at the scene when his yellow Honda  MSX 125 motorbike was involved in the accident at around 1.45pm on the A490.

The man’s family are currently being supported by Dyfed-Powys Police family liaison officers.

The road was closed for collision investigation and re-opened around 9.25pm on Sunday evening.

“Officers continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision and are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the bike travelling through Welshpool and Guilsfield shortly before the collision,” a police spokesperson said.
