Two men have been charged following the tragic accident that caused the death of a third man, and serious injuries to a child.
The accident just outside Welshpool near the Horseshoe Pub, happened on Saturday evening and resulted in the road being closed for almost 16 hours.
And this morning, Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed that Abubakr Ben Yusaf, 29, was charged with drug driving, causing death by dangerous driving, causing serious injury by dangerous driving, causing death whilst uninsured, failing to provide a specimen for analysis, and failing to stop after a road traffic collision.
Umar Ben Yusaf, 33, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, causing serious injury by dangerous driving, causing death whilst uninsured, and failing to stop after a road traffic collision.
Both men are due to appear in court this morning.
