The popular Welshpool Music Country Festival is set to return to the Powis Castle Showground from July 16-19, promising a top-notch line-up of international acts.
The event has become a popular part of the area’s summer social calendar, attracting huge numbers of visitors into the area for four days of music.
While Saturday and Sunday traditionally are the big days with music all afternoon and evening, Thursday and Friday will also host evening entertainment for those revellers wanting to make a longer weekend of it.
This year’s event also coincides with the 50th anniversary of the Heulwen Trust who organise the event to raise funds for their canal boat rides along the Montgomery Canal for passengers with disabilities.
