Santa Paws is coming to town…

It may seem barking mad, but Santa Paws is coming to town this weekend for what promises to be a fun filled day for, quite literally, all of the family including the dogs!

In the first of its kind for Welshpool this Saturday, three organisations – Willow’s Walks and Dog Services; Groom By Di and Woof Whistles – have come together to organise a Christmas treat for our four-legged friends at the Town Hall.

There will be a variety of the usual family favourite stalls present, but there will also be a plethora of dog-related businesses selling dog chocolate, toys, training supplies, as well as dog grooming demonstrations, which will include dog nail clipping and teething cleaning, provided by professional dog groomers. Training guidance will also be provided.

But the biggest attraction will be Santa’s Grotto, where dogs can have a photo taken with Santa Paws, with donations being split between Hokey Pokey Hedgehog Rescue and Standard Poodle Rescue.

The event will take place between 10am and 4pm.
