A Forden florist with clients across Powys, Shropshire, Cheshire and Herefordshire is celebrating being named as a regional finalist for the first The Wedding Industry Awards covering Wales.

Emma Jane Floral Design will be up against four other accomplished Welsh finalists in November, before hoping to win a spot in the National finals in January.

Emma Edwards, owner of Emma Jane Floral Design, said: “I am truly delighted to be a finalist in the first ever Welsh TWIA awards. The awards haven’t included our region in the past so it is a lovely surprise to be selected as one of the four finalists in the Wedding Florist of the Year category!”

It’s been a great year for Emma Jane Floral Design already with another busy season of beautiful wedding flowers and Emma is hoping to end the year on a high.

“Being recognised amongst some incredibly talented florists is an honour in itself, thank you so much to all of our wonderful couples who have voted for us. We can’t wait for the awards ceremony! Fingers crossed!” she said.

The company is no stranger to award winning. Established in 2019, they were named Welsh Wedding Florist of the Year at the Welsh Wedding Awards in 2023, Mid Wales Wedding Florist of the Year at the Welsh Wedding Awards in 2024 and has represented Wales at The Nation’s Wedding awards in both 2023 and 2024.

The Wedding Industry Awards (TWIA) say they ensure that there is a credible, reliable, independent regional and national awards process. They are the only client-voted, expert-judged regional and national awards in the wedding industry.
