Cricket season underway today

The Shropshire League gets underway today with all of our local sides in action.

Newtown launch their Premier League season, while Montgomery will be looking for a good start in Division Two.

Welshpool, who cruelly were denied promotion last summer, are with Guilsfield & Llandrinio in Division Three once again, while Llanidloes are with Newtown II in Division Four.

The second-string sides of Montgomery and Welshpool compete in Division Six while Guilsfield & Llandrinio II are in Division Seven. Llanidloes have a second team playing Sunday League.
