Can the old boys teach young guns a lesson?

Trewern United Football Club’s annual pre-season showpiece when a team of veterans take on the current crop is scheduled for this Saturday.

The match is always a popular fixture and raises money towards the club’s running costs for the upcoming season.

The match will kick off at 2pm at Llandrinio Village Hall Field, where Trewern play their home matches these days.

It’s a fun day with plenty going on off the pitch with hot food available after 3.30pm. Hot, cold and alcoholic drinks are also available.
