Domino League cheque for rugby youngsters

Welshpool’s young rugby players have been given a boost by the town’s Domino League.

Members of the league committee handed over the cheque for £420 to the junior section committee at Welshpool Rugby Club watched by the future stars.

The money is from the annual Whitehouse Cup finals evening and Keith Lewis, from the Domino League Committee, said: “We have noted the excellent job being done at Welshpool Rugby Club by volunteers and we decided that this year, we would like to make a donation to the Junior section at the club which will help them continue to thrive.”
