Two men charged following Foundry Lane disorder

Two men have been charged with several offences after an incident of disorder which took place in Foundry Lane, Welshpool, at approximately 3.30pm last Thursday.

John O’Donnell, 36, from Welshpool, has been charged with two counts of assault of an emergency worker, and being drunk and disorderly in a public place. He has been released on bail.

Kane Christian Powells, 24, from Welshpool, has been charged with four counts of assault of an emergency worker, possession of cannabis and drunk and disorderly in a public place. He has been remanded into custody.

Both men are due to appear next at Welshpool Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, May 5.
