Welshpool's events calendar is filling up
Welshpool Town Council has updated its events calendar for the rest of the year, with plenty going on for the town to enjoy.
At the latest Events & Planning meeting, the list of events they are organising, as well as big events organised by others, was shared and dates for the diary include the Mayor’s Quiz, Carnival, Continental Market and Fireworks Display.
Welshpool Town Council creates the events list, with many of them free to ensure that the whole of the town can take part. Others raise money for causes like the ‘Mayor’s Charity’.
Saturday 4th April 2026 – Easter Egg hunt.
Saturday 2nd May - Mayors Quiz.
Sunday 31st May – Civic Ceremony
Saturday 27th June 2026 – Carnival.
Friday 3rd – Sunday 5th July 2026 – Continental market.
Friday 25th – Sunday 27th September 2026 – 1940’s weekend - Road closed.
Friday 6th November – Memorial garden service - TBC.
Friday 6th November - Fireworks display.
Sunday 8th November 2026 – Remembrance.
Wednesday 11th November – two-minute silence outside Town Hall.
Saturday 28th November 2026 – Winter Festival.
