Firefighters were called out on Sunday morning to a blaze at a property on Erw Wen in Welshpool.
Photographer Phil Blagg was on the scene to capture the firefighters from Welshpool, Montgomery and Llanfair Caereinion Fire Stations tackling the blaze at around 9.33am, with it threatening to spread.
Two cars on separate drives were caught up in the fire, and were reported to be “severely damaged”.
“Crews utilised two hose reel jets, one main jet and four breathing apparatus sets to extinguish the fires,” said a spokesperson for Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service. “Both vehicles were severely damaged by fire. The fire spread to a wooden fencing structure, a garden shed measuring approximately 9 metres by 3 metres. The side elevation of a domestic property was affected by smoke and heat damage.”
Crews left the scene at 10.34am, having spent about an hour on site.
