All smiles at Welshpool nursery after ‘excellent’ report
Little Acorns Day Nursery was inspected across four areas of Well-Being, Care and Development, Environment and Leadership and Management and in three of those areas, the inspector rated the setting as ‘Excellent’.
This means that they “are committed to ongoing improvement with many strengths, including significant examples of sector leading practice and innovation. These services deliver high quality care and support and are able to demonstrate that they make a strong contribution to improving children’s well-being”.
“Many things were highlighted but we are particularly proud of the elements where we received compliments on how loved and cared for the children are,” said a spokesperson for Little Acorns Day Nursery.
“One such comment in the report was ‘staff are nurturing, caring and enthusiastic. They successfully meet children’s needs, and their interactions are consistently high-quality. Leaders and staff manage children’s behaviour sensitively and effectively. They offer an excellent range of both child-led and planned activities and experiences that greatly enhance children’s play and learning opportunities’. So, we are really proud.”
