Welshpool post box for ‘Letters to Santa’

A magical post box is to be located in the Town Hall this year to allow children to write to Father Christmas, with a promise that they will receive a reply too!

Welshpool Town Council has liaised with Lapland to ensure that letters posted into the post box from November 22-December 13 will be delivered to Santa who has promised a reply.

“Remember to add your name and address to the letters so that Santa can write back,” a spokesperson from the Town Council confirmed.

The post box will be in place from November 22 inside the Welshpool Indoor Market, which is also known as ‘The Market Under the Clock’.
