Halloween horror as child injured after car crashes into garden

There was a worrying incident on a Welshpool estate last night as children were out and about celebrating Halloween.

Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed this morning they were called to a “single vehicle collision” in Bryn-y-Ddol, at 6pm as children were trick or treating, thankfully despite one child being taken to hospital, there were no serious injuries reported.

“A car had gone off the road and stopped in a residential garden,” a police spokesperson said.

“One person – a child – was taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be serious.

“Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service were also in attendance.”
