Road closed after lorry and caravan collide

Police said that the reason for the lengthy closure on a busy main road was down to an accident involving a lorry and a car towing a caravan this morning.

The A483 towards Llanymynech was closed for nearly four hours following the accident at around 11am.

“It is not believed that any injuries were sustained and the road reopened at just past 2.30pm,” said a police spokesperson.
