Man charged with causing Alex’s death by dangerous driving

On the one-year anniversary since Alex Edwards tragically died in a road collision, a man has been summoned to appear in court.

Alex, from Guilsfield, sadly died in the road traffic collision on the B4393 near Llandrinio Bridge on September 16, 2024.

Barry Phillips, aged 53 and from the Llanymynech area, has been summoned to appear at Welshpool Magistrates Court on October 14, to answer a charge of causing his death by dangerous driving.

Alex, pictured, was 22 at the time of his death and his family have released this photo on the anniversary.
