It was a huge Welsh celebration at Llandysilio Church in Wales school, Four Crosses, who celebrated a “fantastic” Eisteddfod.
Pupils worked hard fvor weeks running into the event, and it paid off with some excellent performances.
The theme this year was based on the Welsh Dragon and the children took part in a range of competitions on the main stage including Creative Dance, poetry recitals and singing, all in front of judges.
They also took part in competitions such as handwriting and creating beautiful Welsh Dragon inspired artwork.
The judges praised the children for their high-quality use of the Welsh language spoken throughout their performances.
The winning House overall was Cadair Idris, closely followed by Pen Y Fan and Yr Wyddfa. “Congratulations to all learners and staff for working so hard to create a fun, exciting and fantastic Eisteddfod for all to enjoy,” said School Governor, Claire Richards.
