Hub reverts to one day a week for summer

The community hub opened to bring people together twice a week through the colder months at Welshpool Town Hall, will revert to one day a week from next week.

The Hub will be open this week today (Tuesday) and Thursday from 10am-2pm, but that will be the end of the twice-a-week run for now, opening just on a Thursday.

It also means the jacket potatoes won’t be on offer, but refreshments, including toasties, will still be on offer for a donation if you can throughout spring and summer.

On May 9, Powys County Council will attend for a drop-in about housing and financial support. If you have any questions or issues, pop in and have a cup of tea and speak to them.

The Assembly Room is accessible with a lift and has toilets.

The Hub is also collecting used stamps for Welshpool Parkinson’s, with a box located inside.
