The Welshpool Camera Club runs a fortnightly meeting to host workshops, guest speakers and social events for photographers, with all welcome to attend.
Members are attending from as far afield as Shrewsbury and Llanidloes and a busy winter programme is planned.
The next club meeting tomorrow (Tuesday) will be a presentation by the renowned wildlife photographer Nigel Spencer (www.nigelspencer.co.uk) entitled Winter Wildlife. Non-members are always welcome - £5 on the door. Prompt start at 7:30pm at New Street United Reform Church, Welshpool.
At the last gathering, it was a full house for the Black Light practical workshop at. Using luminous paints on glass, toys etc plus a live model proved a popular topic with members bagging some unusual and striking images.
