Welshpool High School’s tennis courts will open up again to the public this summer, with lessons to be available for all youngsters too.
The school has teamed up with We Do Tennis to allow public use of the tennis courts, with nine available through affordable court hire and family membership options.
Family membership is just £10 per month, giving families a simple and cost-effective way to enjoy tennis together, or a court can be rented for £6 per hour.
Court availability is currently Monday to Friday from 4.30pm to 9.30pm, with courts available all day at weekends.
Junior tennis coaching on a Saturday afternoon is also being launched, with different sessions available to children aged between 4 and 15. The first session will be on Saturday, June 27, and will initially run for four weeks.
“Whether you’re looking to play regularly, book a casual hit, or get the family on court, Welshpool Tennis is a great place to get started,” a spokesperson at the high school said.
