In Division One North, Welshpool face a mammoth task as they play Champions elect, Nant Conwy on Saturday, writes Gary Williams.
Welshpool, having a season to forget as far as results go, have just three games to go - Nant Conwy and Pwllheli away and Ruthin at home.
Nant, the big hitters in the Division, are unlikely to show any mercy to the Maesydre boys as they look to increase their 'points for' in the table.
Full credit to Welshpool for not throwing in the towel and this season’s toughening-up experience may yet prove to be of benefit as they look forward to life back in Division Two next season.
Also in Division One, COBRA travel to a Bethesda side desperate for points to ensure that they stay out of the bottom two.
The table suggests a win for COBRA but home advantage and the need for any points by Bethesda, might make this a closer game than expected.
Machynlleth, third from bottom in Division Two North, go to Dolgellau. The hosts, who are second bottom and two points below Mach, know that a win will take them out of the relegation zone as they swop places with their opponents.
COBRA Athletic, who suffered their first defeat of the season last weekend at home to Wrexham Athletic, host a Rhos side who are in the lower half of the Division.
The Meifod men are likely to get back on to winning ways as they look to hang on to the one promotion spot.
In the North Wales Youth Premiership, COBRA Youth travel to Nant Conwy, never an easy place to go, but they’re enjoying a great run at the moment and could well come home with the points.
Newtown Youth host Wrexham Youth in the North Wales Youth Championship.
Best of luck to Machynlleth Ladies who are playing Porthcawl away in the WRU Women’s Bowl semi-final.
