Caersws boss Craig Williams has left the struggling Bluebirds to take up the vacant manager’s role at Mid Wales rival Aberystwyth Town.
Williams has struggled to ignite the Bluebirds in his time there, with them finishing in the lower reaches of the JD Cymru Alliance last season and sitting just three points above the bottom spot at present.
But his departure will have come to a shock to Caersws who only stated that Williams had “accepted an offer from another club”.
Aberystwyth Town then unveiled the well-respected coach as their man at the helm, with them languishing in mid-table in the JD Cymru South.
Club Chair, Neil Lewis, will take the reins for the time being with assistant Lee Stephens while the search for a permanent replacement takes place.
