Officials have been visiting schools ahead of what promises to be another action-packed Classic Lanes Road Rally, taking place this weekend on June 14/15.
As part of the lead-up, members of the organising team have been out and about visiting two local schools, Guilsfield C.P School and Buttington Trewern Primary School, to give students a taste of rally life.
“Inspiring the next generation, students rose to the challenge and were given a team task plotting a route on a map followed by an opportunity to look around the rally cars,” said a spokesperson.
“Come and join us at Welshpool Livestock Market on Saturday where you will have the opportunity to see the rally cars up close and then from 8.30pm onwards at the special test at Caebardd, with hot food and drinks available alongside a prize draw in our spectator area.”
The event promises another night of motorsport and competition whilst raising money for the
Montgomeryshire Lingen Davies Committee.
