Entries open tomorrow for Classic Lanes Road Rally

One of the area’s favourite sporting events is due to take place on the night of June 14, with the entry book opening tomorrow (May 1).

The Classic Lanes Road Rally Returns for another edition, and promises 95 challenging miles of classic road rally action on the Montgomeryshire lanes with the event starting and finishing at Welshpool Livestock Market.

As in previous years, spectators are welcome to the livestock market from 7pm ahead of a fun, no nonsense night of sport!

The event runs in memory of Gill Wood, a committed member of Welsh Border Car Club, who bravely lost her battle with cancer in 2016. The Rally committee are once again supporting Montgomeryshire Lingen Davies, and this year aim to raise £1,000 for the charity.
