Darts doubles competition brings in the players

The Welshpool and District Darts League sponsored by The New Saints FC saw a good turnout at the Green Dragon for the blind doubles, writes Steve Lloyd.

There were some decent partnerships drawn, but the strongest on the night was Dan Hosiene (Compass) and Ben Davies (Westwood B) who beat Darren Hyland and Rob Jenks (pictured) in the final.

This week sees the finals of the Canalside Carpets Cup and the Will Nunn Cup at Moltos, which is a fine venue for the finals and open to anyone wanting to come and watch some great darts.
