Guilsfield confirm return of former boss
Burton stepped in during the summer following Leonard’s shock departure to Newtown, and has helped the villagers enjoy a decent start to the JD Premier North campaign.
Last night, ahead of the team’s 3-0 Central Wales Cup win over Llandrindod Wells, the club announced:
“We are pleased to announced that our interim manager, Matt Burton, has now committed to being the first team manager on a permanent basis for the 2024/25 season.
“Many thanks for all his hard work so far this season, and we look forward to the remainder of the season with Bernie, Geoff and Lee as backroom staff.”
Guilsfield currently sit in seventh spot after seven league matches.
