Welshpool Women after new recruits

Welshpool is an established home to a women’s football team, but they are after new recruits to bolster their numbers.

The teams run under the framework of Welshpool Town FC and anyone aged 16 or over is encouraged to come down to the weekly training sessions to give it go.

“This is a really friendly and welcoming group of girls and women,” said Club Secretary, Eva Bredsdorff. “So why not give it a try – we need new players and we look forward to welcoming you down.”
