Plan C for tonight’s final Tractor Run
The news we’ve all been waiting for: Tonight’s final Welshpool Illuminated Tractor Run WILL go ahead!
The timetable remains the same, with the Livestock Market Open this afternoon for visitors, and the run set to start at 5pm.
“Plan C has had to come into play because of road closures and floods,” said lead organiser Jenny Clarke. “But we are good to go and hope to raise lots of money for one final time for charity!”
Turn Left heading down the bypass
Taking the slip road Right onto Salop Road
Follow the one way system from the The Westwood Pub
Round past Marks Autos
Left at NFU MUTUAL to the traffic lights
Turn Right at the traffic lights and go up the High Street keeping to the left towards The Raven Roundabout
Take the 2nd exit towards Guilsfield
Turn RIght into Guilsfield going past Derwen Garden Centre, staying on the B4392 to Arddleen
Get to the T-Junction at the other end of Arddleen
Turn Left towards Four Crosses/Oswestry
Head towards Four Crosses roundabout
Take 3rd Exit into Four Crosses
Go straight over zebra crossing and past Lloyd Fraser buildings (on the right)
Turn right at the end of the road towards Llandrinio
Head straight to the T-Junction at the end and
NEW PART OF THE ROUTE
Turn right towards the A483 back towards Arddleen and go back through Arddleen and Guilsfield
Back towards Welshpool
Past Ballards garage
Past The Westwood Pub on Salop Road (back the way we came)
Then head in bypass towards Trewern/Buttington
Up to Middletown, turning right after the Breidden pub (Marshall will be in situ at turning point)
All the way round the back of Middletown caravan park.
Then left back onto bypass back towards the Livestock Market, via Trewern and Buttington again.
