Here’s when Bank Holiday bin days may (or may not!) happen

Powys County Council has confirmed that recycling collections will change during the August Bank Holiday week.

While non-recyclable waste (wheeled bins and purple sacks) and garden waste collections will continue as normal, recycling collections will move by one day and take place between Tuesday, September 1 and Saturday, September 5.

The revised recycling collection schedule is: 

Monday, August 31 collections move to Tuesday, September 1

Tuesday, September 1 collections move to Wednesday, September 2

Wednesday, September 2 collections move to Thursday, September 3

Thursday, September 3 collections move to Friday, September 4

Friday, September 4 collections move to Saturday, September 5

Residents are asked to make sure their recycling boxes are out by 7am on their revised collection day, or earlier if the weather looks to be extremely hot.
