This Saturday sees the second annual Welshpool Classic Car Show take place at the Church in Wales Primary School on Salop Road from 10am-4pm.
A wide variety of vehicles have been entered dating from the 1940s through to modern times, including Rolls Royce, Jeep, Triumph Spitfire, Morgan, Ford Capri and many more.
Anyone who has a vehicle, be it on 2, 3, 4 or more wheels that they would like to exhibit can register through the website www.welshpoolclassiccarfestival.co.uk or just turn up on the day from 8.30am.
Members of the public are reminded that parking will be at the High School with blue badge holders able to park at the primary school itself.
There will be a variety of different stalls including crafts, toys, caterers, Scoopalicious ice cream, a grand draw and more. If wet, stalls will be undercover in the main hall.
Admission is £2 for adults with under 14 years entering for free. Parking is with a minimum donation of £1.
Among the charities benefitting from the event will be CiW Primary School, Friends of Welshpool High School, Welshpool 1940s Weekend, ENSA Memorial Appeal, Hokey Pokey Hedgehog Rescue, Hope House, Newport Royal Naval Club and the Longest Yarn exhibition coming to Welshpool in September.
