Rodent problem solved at Dol-y-Felin

Welshpool Town Council has declared that the much-publicised rat problem at Dol-y-Felin seems to have been solved.

Following several reports of rats running amok at the estate’s playground, the Town Council responded immediately with pest controllers dispatched.

And an update was provided at the latest Operations & Development Committee where councillors were told that pest control “visited eight times with traps and bait” and that they had now “been removed due to activity ceasing”.

However, the pest controllers advised the councillors to cut the undergrowth and to keep it short.

The were concerns that the town's growing rodent problem was connected to the regular delays in collecting bins.
