The lead candidates battling it out for your vote at the Welsh elections on May 7 will be attending a ‘hustings’ at the Town Hall next week.
Welshpool Town Council is hosting the event on Thursday, March 26, from 6.30pm-8pm when the main parties and any independents will be put in front of the town’s public to answer whatever questions will be asked.
“It will provide a platform for candidates to outline their priorities, respond to key local issues, and answer questions from the public,” said a spokesperson for the Town Council.
“It aims to support informed voting by giving residents the chance to engage with those seeking to represent them at a national level.”
The hustings will be open to all members of the public. Further details regarding participating candidates and how to submit questions will be shared in advance of the event.
