Inner Wheel member recognised for 50 years of service

Olive Williams, the widow of the late former MP for Montgomeryshire, Delwyn Williams, has been recognised for over 50 years of service with Welshpool Inner Wheel.

Mrs Williams was presented with her certificate by Mrs Dorothy Lee Ogden, the Inner Wheel District 18 Chair who attended Welshpool’s meeting at the Royal Oak this week.

She was welcomed by the President, Mrs Wendy Beaven, who presented an illustrated booklet on Welshpool ‘Childhood Memories’, and two books on Montgomery and the Herbert family as a memento of her visit.

The date of the next meeting is April 21.
