Village launches Easter Scarecrow Trail

With scarecrow trails becoming popular in Montgomery and Guilsfield in recent years, Leighton is having a go over the Easter holidays.

The village’s Easter Scarecrow Trail is being launched at a coffee morning this Saturday at the Village Hall.

With a theme of ‘favourite characters from books and stories’ the trail has already had some fantastic entries including The Cat in the Hat, The Hungry Caterpillar, The Worst Witch and many more.

Maps will be available this Saturday at the coffee morning for day one, but with the trail open until April 7, maps will also be available from Leighton School, Alexanders and the Village Hall.
