Bike scramblers damage golf club green

Irresponsible motorbike ‘scramblers’ have been slammed for causing damage to a local golf club’s green.

Officials at Llanymynech Golf Club said that riders “with no helmets who had ridden on the public roads” were responsible for the damage to the first green last night.

A spokesperson told us that the damage can be repaired, but at an expense to the club.

When the damage was reported online last night, a number of comments were made about ‘scramblers’ using the roads without helmets or lights.
