A setting that provides daily childcare in Welsh for 24 toddlers aged 2-4 years in Welshpool is celebrating a glowing report from a joint Estyn and Care Inspectorate Wales joint inspection.
Ysgol Feithrin Y Trallwng received four ‘excellents’ from six categories with the remaining two deemed ‘good’ following the inspection in November.
Among the highlights, the report identified that ‘Children have a very effective voice at the setting and they are given excellent opportunities to make purposeful choices and decisions’.
It states that ‘leaders provide a very rich learning environment for the children’ and ‘ensure a variety of valuable and challenging opportunities are provided for children to develop a wide range of skills, especially their independence and problem-solving skills’.
