The popular Deri Woods in Llanfair Caereinion that were closed for a period following pre-Christmas storms, are set to close again this week for more safety work.
Initial safety work enabled the woods to reopen last month, but planned work is being carried out from west of the standing stones to the pumping station building.
“This area of the woods is to be closed to public access during the day for the period Monday (today) to Friday, February 7, due to works being completed following the storm damage affecting the area recently,” said a spokesperson for Llanfair Caereinion Town Council.
“The Deri Woods car park will also be out of use for this period to allow access for larger vehicles to access the site to remove fallen trees.”
