Rarely has a campaign united the area more than the ongoing fight to keep our lifesaving Wales Air Ambulance base in Welshpool, and the last throw of the dice is just days away.
With the charity wanting to close the base, and another in Caernarfon in favour of a new base in north east Wales, campaigners have refused to give up, and the final legal hearing known as a judicial review, will take place at Cardiff Crown Court next week.
In a statement from the campaign team, they said: “A hearing date has now been set for the Judicial Review which will start at 10am on Wednesday, January 22, and continue on Thursday, January 23. The hearing will take place at Cardiff Crown Court (and) if anyone would like to attend, you do not need to register, you can just turn up.
“We have everything crossed for the right outcome for the people of Mid Wales and North West Wales.”
