Welshpool to welcome an alpaca influx on Saturday

Welshpool is set to welcome more than 100 natives of South America this weekend when the Welsh Alpaca Show and Craft Fair will be hosted at the Livestock Market.

From 9am-3.30pm, visitors can meet and pet the lovable camelid mammals which are becoming a popular addition to the Welsh farming family.

There will also be spinning demonstrations along with the market café being open throughout.

The event is raising vital funds for RABI, the charity formed for the wellbeing of the farming community.
