Free Fireworks Display set for Welshpool return
The event has been a popular addition to the town’s social calendar in recent years, with the Town Council keen to put on the event as something for everyone in the town to enjoy.
But there was disappointment last year when the brewing storm forced a cancellation, along with a similar event planned for Meifod and organised by COBRA Rugby Club.
The event will be held on November 2 at Maesydre, with gates opening at 6pm with the first fireworks set for 7pm.
Entry is free, but donations will go towards the cost of the display and future events.
Organisers remind residents that no dogs or vehicles allowed on site. There will be parking for blue badge holders only.
