Y Lanfa, which is home to both the Powysland Museum and Welshpool Library, is asking residents in the area to help them solve a mystery.
Historians are keen to learn more about three identical jugs in their collection, which are dated almost 120 years ago.
“They are made of ceramic, painted to look like a wooden barrel with the relief of a man drinking on one side and a man walking with a horse on the other,” the museum said.
“Can you help us solve a mystery? Do you know who A.E & M.J Bond are? And what happened in 1906?”
You can contact the museum through their Facebook page.
